1. Run memtest86 first...If you have any errors you have a bad stick.
Then check them 1 at a time to find out which one it is.
2. If none of the above. Up northbridge voltage to see if that sorts it.
3. Try 1.7 and see if you memory is stable after the increase.

The whole thing is that your RAM voltage and QPI voltage must be within .5v of eachother, so if your ram is at 1.7v, your QPI voltage must be at least 1.3v. Maybe shoot a PM to Binge about it, he was one of the early i7 owners and he's leet in this field, much leeter than I.

I'll be leet on it and tell you so. I'm running 1.7 vdimm and 1.35v qpi/dram without problems. If you want to keep with in Intel specs, 1.85 vdimm would be the highest since .5v off that would put your vvt at max spec of 1.35v.
