ADSL Line Issues, Dropped DNS Servers

Ok ladies and gents... I have a problem on my ADSL line and despite all my knowledge on the Networking front, I am stumped. Posting via my secondary OC3 line which I DO NOT like using whatsoever for purposes like these...

Anywho- Here is the problem...
1. Works when hardwired to the DSL Modem (Telephone Line->DSL Modem->PC)
2. Works off and on when hooked to the Wireless Router, I have tried 2 routers known to work on my neighbors DSL line and he uses the same ISP/DSL Modem.
3. 2 of my ISPs DNS Servers are un-reachable even when hardwired, which leads me to believe it is on their end... Their DNS Servers are 216.163.120.19 / 21. I am using another ISPs DNS Servers in the meantime, which I don't think they appreciate... running out of ideas...

I have called my ISP's corporate office and they are sending an Network Engineer (not just a tech, the guy who manages the ISP's networks on the grand scheme) to my location on Monday, but figured it might be worth a shot to see if any of you guys/ladies can find a better solution...
