Newer AGP video card on the cheap

Just as the title states, looking for an AGP video card for a pal. He really can't afford much, so the cheaper the better LOL.

He is running a TI4200 at the moment, and can't seem to find drivers for it with Windows 7, so something fairly new such as 6xxx series of Nvidia, or newer ATI would be great.

Hoping to find something less that $50 if possible.

Thanks in advance.

pci is also an option:

AGP cards come in 2x/4x/8x so slot generation might matter:

LOL Who doesn't know that.

Its not for gaming. He just needs it to boot Windows 7 and handle windows 7 drivers etc.

He needs it to handle the duty equivalent of modern integrated graphics. I think its for a customer/friend/family member and not a gamer.

Who would game on AGP anymore anyway? The AGP standard has been dead for ages.

I am just saying we are all smarter than to think pci can game. Just like you know it.

true, but you cant call it an upgrade if its slower than what he has already.

as for gaming.... the 3850 offered would handle most modern games with ease. the older cards can play older games with no problems either.

Even the 8800gt is getting rather weak for next gen titles which devours two 3850's IMO.
