I can imagine.

Updating Firefox often enough breaks one of the many add-ons I have installed and I'm sure it doesn't have as many dependencies or complexity as your forum software...

Incidentally, I find that updating Windows & Office over the years hardly ever produces errors or problems for me, which I find quite amazing. So credit to Microsoft on the quality of their updates. Please everyone: this isn't a flamebait on the quality of MS products, just my own personal experience and I can appreciate that other people with other configurations may see problems with MS updates.

If you are going to put up an interim test site for 4.0 and need some testers, I'll be glad to lend a hand to help find any problems before you launch it.
