I had no idea they were doing this. I never got to play GoW 1 & 2 and was lookign forward to buying GoW 3 for my PS3. Now I will buy them all and play them in order. Sweet thanks for the info!!

Its really recommended you play the first two before the third. Otherwise the (brilliant) story gets confusing...

By the way, I just preordered it, it should be out in a week, for about 70 CHF (65 USD). And: In ENGLISH and UNCUT

im try it on my work pc with intel d 2m cash cpu 3ghz -1g ram - ati x300 = the game run very heavy it can't play also try it in same time on other pc same system but with nvidia card 8500gt same shit look the game have bad engine, also im go try it on my home pc

I was surfing PSN last night, they are still trying to sell the 2nd game DL for $19.99 even with this on the way. Wondering how that works as newer PS3's cant play PS2 games?

Well its here! GS had it announced as the 17th, but turns out that was the ship date, so went up there and got my copy today. Started about an hour ago on the 1st one and having a ton of fun. the AA seems to really help, but it can't help the character models much, Kratos looks good, but ay other character looks pretty bad. Gameplay is a ton of fun though, but I'm really looking forward to moving onto the 2nd one, I just might have to go for the Platinum Trophy on these things.

Awww my copy arrives tomorrow... at least I hope. I want it this week! And the german version is announced for 1st quarter of 2010, HAH, those poor bastards who can't speak English...

I'm already about half way through the 1st one, ton of fun, the beginng of the game the graphics look pretty craptastic, but they start to look better as you progress. Looks like a Platinum metal shouldn't be too hard on the 1st game, I'll play through once moreo n easy to get the 5 hour medal, then should be good to go. 2nd one maybe more difficult, I havent checked it's trophies yet.

Compared to the second, the first game is easy. The second goes on and on and on, you play for hours and hours and you're nowhere near the end

Sounds good to me, the 1st is looking to be a bit short of a game, how much better are the graphics on the 2nd one? Mainly character models? The 1st game, anyone except Kratos looks like they are made of a bunch of balls. Big ball shoulders, then the top of the arm is a ball with a big divet in the shoulder.

Second one is better in all aspects. It looked so good on PS2, even better than several PS3 games.
