ok I got more hard drives in! 1TB 1.5TB 2TB... al the the drives have at least 1.5 years of warranty... some of them as much as 4 years+

all drives are tested and in working order... they have not actually been used

BTW, the WD Green drives don't spin at 7200 RPM. They're more like 5400-5900, FYI.

it really depends on the drive...

many of them run @ 7200rpm under heavy use and then throttle down at idle...

yes... greenpowers are dual rpm drives. 5400 at low throughput and 7200rpm in high throughput modes

Shot you a PM on this fact. How damaged do the externals have to be before you pull them? You might make some loot selling some cosmetically flawed exteral drives as well. :laugh:

Is the warranty on these any good if they're pulls from externals? I don't think they're covered that way but I could be wrong.
