Forum images migrating to CDN

we just rolled out an update that puts all forum static content like images etc onto akamai's cdn which should greatly help with load times, especially for non-us visitors.

let us know your feedback and any problems you noticed

i'll let you know what i run into, but TPU was always fast around here (except those odd times when it goes down for backups)

Work disabled all buttons due to this.. all I get is "X" on all images, buttons within the site..

Good old work filters... lol

The URL's are Forums.techpowerup

It's most likely due to my work filter with the CDN. On say this page. I get the avatars and that's it. Oh, and the button for post/go advanced..

I would throw a screenshot for reference but, they've blocked any image site to upload.

right click the broken image -> properties -> which url there? you should see something like i.tpucdn.com/....

Like I said in the first one, It's most likely our work filter... anything that isn't for a hospital, it blocks.. Besides TPU since I got "IS" to use this site for anythin wrong with a computer.. OS mishap and whatnot.

Ahh, whitehouse.gov.. lol... Yeah, their working fine. I believe it's this work filter.. If we go on the guest connection, our back office computers, it's fine.. So, it leads me to believe that it's the filter itself..

Yeah, It was up till today that it started bugging.. I've cleaned IE...

I'm thinking if it's not the filter, it might be on compatability on IE.. We still are using IE6.. They won't upgrade any computers..
