The "T" version...

1750 6-6-6-18 easy with 1.65V, still testing. These damn $270 memory should do more for the price:D

The "GTX2" version is about $200 a stick:(

I just need a pair of ram that do decent clocks. It will take half of the headache when benching with LN2

I admit it, with $270 a pair.....these ram make overclocking easy, set timings and bench it hard...

It purpose is for benching, not for 24/7 use:)

yes they are different chip versions and/or revisions. the T version being elpidia bbse chips.= highly binned overclocking chips. the other is more than likely the older revision elipidias= very unreliable and not so good overclockers

Sorry, that's not correct. The part number has no indication as to what IC is used. As was already stated in this thread, the version number indicates which IC is used. I refer you to the part number breakdown thread on the Corsair forum:
http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80808

G = GT with Airflow II
T = G but with something added

No one knows what the T means currently.

:banghead:Ive also been looking at ram... I like the cosair as well, but what about Gskill?

But I want a good ram that does dual roles as to be pushed hard and be able to be a good stable ram i can use everyday... but reading these posts it seems there are some that are made more for benching than for everyday use?:confused:

thanks josh

also what would be a good deal for 8gigs the gskill or corsair?
