That's amazing. Every game i've bought on Steam, i've got DLC for free, then MW2 decides to charge...

I honestly hope that PC players will skip the DLC and set a precedent. Although, the famous boycott went over real well, so they may sell tons of the DLC. At least we know why dedicated servers were removed from the series. $15 is far too much for a map pack that has 3 new maps and 2 old ones.

Also, when the DLC was released for the Xbox, if you didn't have the map pack you couldn't group with your friends. Pretty shady if you ask me.

I got MW2 for the PC for Free... with Video card..
Uhm It's gonna be a hard decision to buy this or not..given that IW has given up on this games poor performance and lag issues...

If I buy it they are just gonna pocket the money and none will go to fix issues...If nobody buys it they will say it's not worth fixing nobody has any interest in it...

I dunno 3 out of 20 games is good though...that's 15% good 85% bad...

I think I'll wait to see if anyone says things are getting better before i spend a dime on this game..

This is a little off subject But I heard a rumor the TreyArch's next game COD7 will have game servers..has anyone heard this or can confirm it..

Why anyone cares about some stupid servers.I care only about single player,i never play mp for fps games because it sucks to play without missions.And dont say that mp got missions,capture the flag or deadmatch its not missions its just game mode.I dont get in first plays why developers even care for mp because its sucks in every game that got singleplayer.

I walked through the campaign...in one sitting...without MP the game is garbage...without game servers MP is garbage..

To each their own, but from my perspective you paid sixty bucks for a single player game that is way too short. I hope you got it on sale at least. But if you're happy, that's what matters.

agreed its most FPS games cant even offer me 5hrs of game play so $59 for 5hrs = fail i am not the typical moron sheeple that lick this up like its sex on a stick. and then $15 for a map pack whoop de freakin do thats $75 for laggy multiplayer boosters hacks and cheats the anti hack system is passive so it dosent work and single player i borrowed and beat in 4hrs 45mins give or take about 10 mins thank god im not a part of the sheeple crowd where less is worth more and my ignorance makes some bloody douche rich beyond measure :roll:

Honestly, I think VAC works great, except it needs dedicated servers and good admins. That's where PunkBuster is greater than VAC.

Hell, I picked up CoD4 which has 2/5 of the map pack for the same price, and PB's been kicking me for having the Steam Community overlay active!

You say PB is great, then say it kicks you for a dumb reason...that makes sense. :rolleyes:

PB hasn't done its job in any game for the last 18 months...random kicks, random bans and all the botters are left to play....PB needs to be removed and some other company to do the job...maybe then we will have better quality service and lag free games, seeing as 50% of lag comes from PB in games they support.

The CoD4 map pack was free....why these people charge for a MW2 pack is beyond me, maybe they got the idea from Blizzard so they can make $2 million in 4 hours too. :shadedshu

For the record, the game sucks (even though I own it), console ports need to be banned from the PC.

PB also kicks people for stupidity such as what Anti-Virus you use, old drivers etc.

It lags the games it supports, false bans for cvars and game values that aren't even cheat protected.

All in all, I have nothing nice to say about PB.....its never done a good job and personally, I cant wait to see the end of the shitty "service" they offer. :wtf:

Well for you that say the game is great for single player, and you dont need a need for multiplayer you are in my opinion a very shallow person, that should just get into the 10 times more interactive fun you get from making freinds, playing games, having laphs at stupid people with mics, and making historical matches.

paying 50 dollars for that game is already stupid after a 6 month pc release, and now the stimulate the game with a charged dlc of crap.

hated the games 10 disconnect+ games with crappy players and no one using mics.

Destroyed it for me.

Bad company 2 is just the thing people should move onto and they will realize that its just the overall winner in support, respect, servers, gameplay, ranking, but to be anust i think i would love some mw2 weapons in bad company 2 that would be sick!!!!

At least you get a discount on PC, I get a week of free Xbox Live Gold for buying it on day 1 but it's pointless to me.

I like the map pack, though it's really over priced. 800MSP would have been fine, but 1,200MSP just shows their greed. The new maps are good, but Crash is my favourite.
