My video card has hit the 100C mark and I am buying a new video card fan in a couple days.

Which one should I get?

These coolers are equally matched IMO.

But from this review: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/zerotherm_gx815/4.htm, it certainly swings the decision towards the Zerotherm cooler. Holy smokes it beats the Accelero X2 (already an excellent heatsink) by a full 27C under load.

I had a VF-900 on my old 7900GS @ 1.5VGPU 700Mhz core, stayed under 80C. But I bet the Zerotherm could do better.

All it boils down to is whether or not you mind the noise, since the Zerotherm does not come with a fan controller, but the Zalman comes with a handy fanmate. However you could always plug the Zerotherm's fan into the X1650's header :D

Just a tip for connecting any of the heatsinks mentioned above to your X1650, all you have to do is to remove the little socket that houses the stock fan connector. After that, the two pins powering the fan will be exposed and you can connect a 3-pin connector to your graphics card. Remember to match positive w/ positive, etc.

I have ordered the GX815 and a 4-Pin molex to a 3-Pin connector passthrough. Thanks for the info guys.
