You should be able to dedicate the 8500GT to physx, since the middle slot on the Nvidia chipsets are for using a vid card as a physics processor.

I think you need an SLI bride to do it. And then set the 8500GT to work with physx in the nvidia physx control panel.

put 8800gt to first pci-e x16 and 8500gt to second pci-e x16. no bridge needed install drivers from nvidia powerpack and select 8500gt as physics processor and ur all set.

yeah i did that with my gtx260 and 8800gts 320mb. just remember to re-install drivers again once ur done. I dont know if its fixed with newer drivers, but in vista u have to plug a monitor cable to the second card allso for vista to be able to recognize it. sum1 with experience of the newwer drivers might give u some more info. in XP u dont need to plug the cable.
