These are actually newer CCC says Catalyst 8.9...the 8.54 that have been around for a couple of weeks now are 8.10 alpha.

White dots are fixed in Crysis! No installer issues thank god! Crysis is a tad faster, depending on the area I gained 1-3fps.

Unfortunately, this was quite unstable in Crysis for me. I will be sticking with 8.8, that is a great CAT imo.

I am not experiencing any stuttering. Check your northbridge/southbridge temps.

Thanks for the XP drivers. I always love testing out new drivers in my favorite game.

Did a little testing... HD4870, WinXP Pro x86, Driver only install + ATT Beta.

ETQW: Frame rates are down about 1FPS. Very negligible. Visual quality is the same as 8.8 Final, from what I can see. Overall it works just fine.

There is one thing different in the drivers. The addition of the "Atibrtmon.exe" file in 8.9 Beta. This isn't in the 8.8 Final drivers. I have no idea what it's for either...

I get stuttering in certain areas when loading the next area but thats it.
I think it's a driver issue, it's been like this with my X1950pro and older drivers on COD4 too, but my 8800GT did not have this.

None the less the HD4850 hasn't died on me and plays all the other games good so it's a winner.
