I just broke down and ordered one of these from NewEgg. You just can't beat that price!
I have a 6600GT and an X1300pro to test it on. I'm hoping that maybe I can run it passively on the X1300Pro ![]() I'll let you guys know what I think of it. Thanks for the review though, it was very helpful in making my final puchase ![]() EDIT: 1 question though... Does this take up two or overflow and block three slots?

You can buy a set of good copper heatsinks with sticky on them for about $20 and nip the height a bit.

Thanx for the great review W1zzard!
I just have one question: Is the Accellero X2 better than Evercool?

they are both very similar .. the evercool turbo 2 is a lot cheaper though, cools a bit less well and does not cool the memory

nice long compatability list. sounds like its an efficiant, effective and quiet cooler.
the plastic with metalic paint seems a little bulky, uneeded and looks as though the rounded outermost part would go further then the extra pci space needed.

I'm thinking of buying this for my X850XT...do you think it'll fit with copper ramsinks cooling memory? (copper sinks being about 1cm tall)

nevermind...X850 isn't compatible
Its one of the ONLY cards not on that compatibility list, I feel left out ![]()

Well, it looks like it won't fit on ALL X1300 series cards....... It won't fit on my Asus X1300Pro 256MB because there are a couple caps at the top of the board that the heatpipes hit. Looking at most other X1300 cards, these caps are not there, so it looks like this is an isolated case of pure bad luck ![]() Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, the fan on this thing really IS very quiet! ![]()

oh I'm sorry...I was just being a little paranoid
. With video cards getting as hot as they do, I have to be careful lol. I think I'll probably go with ATIsilencer5. I hope that they come out with rev.3 soon and that it fixes the fan control problems lol.

some people have been having their ATIsilencer5 fan's crap out on them when using ATItool fan control, theres an entire thread dedicated to this topic lol. After I get ATIsilencer5 I'll just use ATItool as a temp monitor lol. ATI drivers are supposed to shut up all video cards with fan control, so thats what I'll use lol

its the worse company ever. THey stole the design from XXXXXX XXX XXX and are copying them. They give 0 customer support also they dont even know how to trouble shoot the sold product. I say they are doing international fraud .

just got this cooler and its awsome, part from the packaging....blistapak
any ways my temps have dropped from 43c idle to 32c....for £14 im quite surprised and did they make a second version of this? as there is 2 extra holes for heat pipes.

i am considering purchasing one of these for my x800 pro vivo. one small question though for those who already have it, does it plug into the card so that it has dynamic speed?
