Here's a ping tool I just made. It's really simple! You can ping a IP and websites. I'm still working on a few bugs.

wanna know something that would be sweet?

adding a drop down that let you pick from tracert or ping

that way when tpu goes down its easy to figure out were the problem is :)

nvm im an idiot..theirs nothing wrong with it...i ran it instead of saving it to my pc so it flipped out all good now :)

You'll have to install .NET Framework 2.0 or newer. You can get it from Microsoft either via redist or through Microsoft Update under optional updates.


@CrackerJack: Instead of creating ping.bat and doing a shell execute on it, why not send it straight to the CMD using the /c flag? You can use System.Diagnostics.Process to run it. The data should be in the OutputStream of the Process. You could also make it update as it happens using this method but it will require some multithreading.

You might have to go to add/remove programs and try to repair the .NET 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5 (4.0 if you have Windows 7) installation then. I'm not certain if 4.0 is backwards compatible or not. 1.1 isn't.
