Waiting for the GT300s to come out, then I'll see what's the better buy. Considering even the 9600GT in my Q9650 rig does all I really need it to do, I see no reason to replace the HD4870X2 in my i7 anytime soon.

I voted 5900 (hemlock) but the more I think about 3 GPU scaling the more I'd rather just get a second 5870....

Waiting for Gulftown i9 for my next build. That gives me time to wait for GT300.. although I would have anyway.

I don't need a new card as of yet - yeah I want a 5870 but by the time I'm ready for a new card hopefully we'll have some new variants on the market and lower prices. Don't really care what nVIDIA do tbh - however I would like to be surprised.

Although i am waiting for the 5870x2/5900 performance and price points. If they are around £300 i will grab one.

HD 5850 for me, though i am dissapointed that they're calling the HD 5870x2 the HD 5970 now. I was hoping since they were going with 5900 series that they'd succeeding in making a dual-core gpu, not the same old 2 dies interconnected via a bridge on the PCB. I'm waiting for ATi to do this, and i say ATI cause they will be the ones to do it and nvidia will have GPU's at 999^mm or w/e lol

I would love to have one of those shiny new ATI cards, but my 9800 GT (and even my GeForce 210 ) seem to be powerful enough for me. Plus, I just got back into folding and I don't know how the new ATi cards compare to folding on NVIDIA hardware.

yeah not very well at the moment. IDK how the new cards fare, but im sure the 9800GT is among the best $/ppd for folding.
