Looks like fermi may be delayed for a while.
I would pick up a GTX275 or a ATI 5850.
That will run anything you throw at it for a while to come.

fermi is supposed to be here march/early april. but i dont think at all you will be able to afford one for $250. I would grab a 5850 or hell a 5830 they will be realeased right before fermi and will only cost like $230 max

Find a 5850 new or used around that price or wait a week or so and get a 5830. I think the 5830 is going to surprise some people. :) It makes no sense buying a Nvidia card that isn't Fermi as they won't be worth a damn once Fermi is acutally released.

what is happening? are they planning to release 2 models only ??? I mean gtx 480 and a 470 ?

I don't think that they will release two dx11 models,....they must release dx11 enthusiast, mainstream & low budget cards right??

Get a 5850, end of story. This is coming from what people consider a NV fanboy.
