To stand any chance you have to have something going for you. and its not as easy as that, you have to physically show you know what your doing, unless you have a highly integral understanding of a system you'll be laughed out the building. and when i say integral I dont just mean "yeah I can build and overclock a computer". Lets have a small test, I'll give you an easy question;

A sinewave in what I am wondering, voltage, frequency from the crystal? ect.
Isn't a sine wave all even and symmetrical and stuff like that?

yep

and to answer the question of the sinewave;

its the DQS skew value available in some BIOSes, it allows modules at high frequencies to be run a lot more stable, the sinewave in lamens terms lets you "tune-in" to your modules more and can either be digital or analouge.

Digital = signal varies to a discreat value
Analouge = signal varies continuously

rofl and how was this? I do the same *sometimes* to my moms brother, who is a programming professor in the SUNY universitys. He know's more than me in some area's, but I think I know more than him in others(not programming areas though

It was pretty funny really, somebody bought up overclocking and the profs went into a rant of how "unbalanced" and "unreliable" it is without giving any specific reasons. So my duties as an enthusiast kicked in, and I proceeded to slaughter the both of them on the subject

lol that's pretty classic. I like schooling people, my IT staff at my school are way to easy though... They are "Threatened of my intelligence"(quote) and they took away my account, so I found a admin account that had no password... Admin (username) (<-password(as in nothing))lol... and they saw i made my own account and now I can't go in computer rooms anymore... so every day, second period I have to go to ISS since my class is in a computer room.
