There is no such thing. Have an X1900GT and trying to unlock the extra pipelines? If someone could upload an X1900 AIW bios, that might work. Curious myself, because I just bought one.

I think it is unlikely, because the 512MB versions tend to use lower ns RAM. That is the biggest challenge with the bios flashes.

Try this:
1. Download your bios using RaBiT and write down the RAM timings
2. Download an X1900XT or X1900XTX bios from here
3. Modify the X1900XT or X1900XTX bios to match your core/mem speeds, bios's latency settings and RAM amount (256MB).
4. Flash and pray!

Make sure you have a PCI video card on hand in case the flash fails.

If you get it to work, let me know. I just bought a card on eBay so I will be trying this in a week.

Yeah, but I don't think they would know how to use Rabit, would they?

my card clocks 625/745, so no problem with XT clocks, especially if voltages are higher, 1.4ns rams are on, the same as 1900XT if I am not mistaken.
I have rabit, have looked into both bioses, have XTX, XT bioses, but there is nothing to see, really no difference.

Well, just use xt but change amount of mem first.

Well, if everything is the same, just lower the RAM and flash away! Please post back if it works... Go man, go!

I thought the XT had 1.2ns, 1.1ns if you're lucky like me =)

Most XT's have 1.1 ns ram, it's usually the lemon stuff that won't go beyond about 1600 MHz. Some have 1.2. If you have a 256 card and 1.4 ns ram, I don't think you have a chance at actually flashing the bios. Does anyone even know if the core's the same? Did they just disable shader pipes, or what? I guess, if the core *is* the same, you could flash it by means suggested earlier -- tweaking the bios to reflect your memory speeds and timings.

Yeah.. I'd save yourself the trouble and request and RMA number while your computer still works ;). Nah, just kidding. This will be sweet if it works, by some means.

I have checked latences, the only difference in 1900XT bios is Memory Refresh Rate, it's 1D (3B in 1900GT). But i have a problem, i can't change ram size

Sb who has more knowlage in bios editing, can edit a 1900XT bios for me, I have never done this.

That's what you have to do on some x850pro's I believe... nt shure though.... but they probally implemented the same thing with the x1900's

Ugh. The RaBiT author may have disabled changing the RAM to keep someone from screwing up their card or has not figured it out yet, because there is nothing to compare it to. The voltage settings had that problem. E-mail him and ask him if he can/will change it.

I glanced at a hex editor recently when trying to mod an X1800GTO to X1800XT, but gave up. Ask over on XS.

You can compare bioses with HexWorkShop, but not sure how that will help you.

I got an anwser form RaBiT author, he told me that memory size setup is experimental function and may not work at all and at this time is nearly impossible to mod that in 1900xt bios.

So the only other option is 1900 AIW bios, but i can't find it. Anyone can help?

Well I just got my card today. Still shrink-wrapped so I am going to keep it that way, because I got a pretty good deal on an X1900 AIW and want to make sure I can mod this. Will PM a few people to try to get an X1900 AIW bios...

Edit: Let's just say the AIW bios didn't work...:ohwell:
