Any recommendations and No I'm not going Intel or Nvidia so dont suggest any of that.

AMD X6 1090T
Gigabyte 890FX Board (Not Sure which- Just know the 790 FX boards they had were overclockers)
CM Hyper N620
8 Gigs DDR3 1600-2000 MHz
XFX Radeon 5870 First Or Second Gen or Power Color PCS +
Cooler Master HAF 932/ Silverstone Raven
Enermax 1050 or Antec 1000 Watt PSU
HT Omega Claro Halo
Seagate/Hitachi/Samsung HDs
LiteOn/Pioneer/Samsung Optical
Windows 7 Professional

(Unsure about which version of the 5870 I would like to get but I'm also unsure if the Eyefinity editions will work with DVI/VGA Monitors- I Just know that the Powercolor PCS+ is capable of Hitting 1000MHz Core speed easily as per reviews here. I'd like to have 2GB frame buffer for upcoming games as my current machine has a 512MB card. CPU cooler I need to be able to have enough space for all 4 ram slots to be occupied)

Any 5870 1GB that is not a reference looking card appears to be using the Vapor-X pcb with don't allow software voltage control. Only exceptions are the uber overclock cards or the Asus Matrix.

As for the Eyefinity6 cards, they come with adapters to convert mini DP to HDMI or DVI. All come with quite a few too as recommended by ATI which is why the cards are quite a bit more than the regular 1GB cards. Also, even most that play game with the 2GB cards say that they don't see any improvement with the extra buffer size.

On system memory, why 8GBs? Is it really needed?

On the cooler I would go with the Mega with a couple of Nexus 120mm fans. I'm loving my NH-D14, but as the pictures I posted in the "PC ATM" I can access 2 slots on my Gigabyte board but the closer two I'm not sure I could take out the Ripjaws without removing the cooler.

Well back in the day, I ran windows XP on 2GB without a swap page, and Windows XP ran ultra fast, drawback was it ran out of resources while compressing a file, So i figure that even though Windows 7 is pretty quick, it can get faster but without losing any resources. Also Max Potential of boards should be about 32GB now. Also I figured that each generation of video card i go with I always seem to quadruple the amt of ram I have. I had a Radeon 9700 Pro with 128MB Ram, My current card has 512 MB of ram, well 512x4 is 2048 so I figure I should go with one of those. The Asus matrix card looks nice n all but I have had a rough past with Asus and kind of figure not to risk touching them.
