wasn't it supposed to be the next greatest on the greatest DX version ?.. What makes me say that is that as soon as DX11 was soon to replace DX10 it got binned for the PC.

Sure thing m8. I will post my views on it once Ive had the chance to play it for a few hours.

I really do hope its a good game. Im a big fan of survival horror titles. My favourite being the Resident Evil franchise. I wasnt too impressed with the recent Alone In The Dark game or the last Silent Hill

Im hoping Alan Wake will make up for this

Apparently, the game can only be completed if you download specific DLC, that you got to pay for.

People need to steer clear of that shit or it sets a very nasty precedent.

FUD spread by angry pirates IMO. The first DLC isn't slated till christmas and will be free by use of a coupon inside the case. This was meant to limit second hand sales, and doesn't affect retail-buyers in any way.

You're probs right.

The guy that told me this has a modded console (as do most of the 360 owners that I know).

But doing what they done is still greedy and nasty by anyone's standards. It means that you won't be able to give your mate a shot of your game and that the ability to play the game to completion will be tied to just one console/account.

Still bloody shocking and it shouldn't be supported by anyone.

this would be an industry first and if that were true I would expect sales to be dismal.
