i find it odd in the recommended specs, its 4800+ and 9800+ then the directX is 11. there is a bit of a disconnect there. Cause i would have thought if in the recommended spces you have dx11 you would want to recommend a dx11 class minimum vid card

You haven't played a Civ game? You have totally missed out. IMO Civ 3 is the best, you can get it for pretty much nothing nowadays. Seriously, they're awesome.

BTW, am I the only one who wants a new Alpha Centauri game? It's been to long.
