New XBOX360 dashboard

To install it on your console just put the '$SystemUpdate' folder on the root of a USB pendrive and turn your console on with this drive connected.

PLEASE NOTE: as this dash has not gone live yet, you will lose your LIVE connection until the launch date. Dont worry, applying this new dash now will not screw up or ban your console

The new dash is pretty nice tbh. It has a new startup animation and everything is sharper (this is the dash thats ready for Kinect). Even the Avatars look better now (slightly taller, thinner and not as childish). This new dash also supports DivX (avi) playback without the need to download an update (about time M$)

Saw a quick video of it, and it looks pretty much the same.

But i hate that they change the part in the beginning when the 360 logo comes on the screen. Looks ugly now imo. lol

I agree. I liked the old blades too.

But, I do like the clean look of the new dash. Its obviously made to fit in with the Kinect and 250GB console.

eh, almost looks like a downgrade to me. Squarish with no design to it, plain and flat. I kno u can skin it but that doesn't change the flat look to it. Honestly it looks like a 80% complete dashboard its so bland.

Ya, the blades to me was the best UI for the 360, it was just clean and simple. Im not a huge fan of the avatar stuff and how it has changed to an extent. It's still doable, but the blades still were the best imo.

Meh, it doesn't look much different than the current one.

I really do miss the old UI, it was so much cleaner and nicer. Now it's just a bunch of annoying ads on every single tab and more junk to load...
