G27 or Momo

How do you find the G27 for the F1 2010 game? Is the 350$ worth it?
Can you keep your left leg on brake and right on accel? Or theres no room, esp with the clutch.
Can you also adjust the amount of turning of the wheel needs? I know it has 900 degrees, but for F1, i wouldnt want more than 150 on each side for max turn rate in-game.

$350? In the USA?

You can regularly find the G27 around $250, and occasionally Logitech has a dented box sale which drops it to around $200.

I have a G27 and the wheelstandpro. I have not tried it with F1, but its an awesome wheel. I use it mostly for PS3 racing games and works flawlessly, especially Shift and GT5 Prologue. you can really feel the difference between cars. I paid $300 for it the day it came out, so it should be found cheaper by now. Wheelstand pro was like $150

I'd say the G27, you would get more for your money. But i agree with the others, $350 is a bit steep, considering that if you do a little search, I'm sure you can find cheaper ones.
It's a shame they don't sell G25s anymore, because I really like those and still would prefer one instead of a G27. Prices would be lower too. Oh well...

Momo wheel is too old, avoid it and get the Driving Force GT instead. Also, you should look into the Fanatec Carerra wheel (http://www.fanatec.de/html/index.php?id=280&lang=en).

Why would you say you would prefer the G25?
Also what places would sell it cheaper? I am in Canada, tho I think I could use one of those companies that you can ship at the border and keep the package for you to pick-up if the price is much lower.

Also, how good is that Porche wheel? I mean F1 2010 was the only game who pushes me to buy a wheel, so I am revolving my purchase around it. In all my other games I've been competitive with the keyboard, including dirt 2 and grid.

G27 is quieter. G25 has optional sequential shift which i always hated anyway.

The Porsche Carerra wheel is different (and cheaper) than the 911 Turbo wheel.

If OP is considering the Driving Force GT I'd recommend checking out the Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 wheel. Here's a review (which mentions the Driving Force GT and the previous generation Thrustmaster GT):

After watching the review I'm going to give my vote to the Porsche Carrera Wheel. It looks as good as the G27 and it's cheaper.

So with the G27 can you actually feel when you lose grip, or you start spinning your wheels?
Would this also be possible with a wheel such as MOMO, or only G27? Do pedals have any force feedback?

I have the Momo and its great! works very well ...can tell when the wheels are slipping and which ones left or right...Its has stood up to the test of time as its probably 5 years old now and still working like the day I received it. .... I cant comment on the G27 as I never tried it before.

No feed back in the momo peddles.
but very realistic feed back with placement in the wheel.

Also no clutch peddle.
