I have just built my rig now. But i keep having random BSOD. This is the error:
I have corsair DDR3 1600mhz, but on boot up it says 1066mhz memory. So I went into the bios and changed this memory option from default to profile 1. Now my memory reads 1600mhz. But since this my computer keeps getting BSOD. Can Any1 help please.

Either turn your timings to a higher number, up the voltage to the memory (careful with that one), or slow the memory down.

What is the CAS rating of the memory and reccomended voltage?

edit... sneeky beat me to it on the Vmem ^

yeah there are 3 different corsair 1600mhz kits, a c9,c8,and c7 obviously the C7 is the best. I would try setting your memory to 8-8-8-24/28 unless it is auto set to that then try 9-9-9-28 all at 1.65v. what does your xmp profile run it at for timings??

@overclocking. Profile1 was 8,8,8,24. I tried 9,9,9,28 and 165v but my memory is still 1066?
@Sasqui Thanks for the info. I am shit at overclocking or anything, I dont know what to do.

you may need to adjust the memory multiplier then to run it at 1600 it should be near cpu speed section of bios adjust it as neccessary to get the right speed with the lower timing speeds then try tighter timings if it works

Just up the voltage a bit. My RAM's sticker says 1.5v, but with that voltage I get BSOD's every time the PC boots; with 1.60v all my problems are long gone.
