Oh well, at least all the processors right now are very closely priced anyways. No big loss.

Noooooooooo! It's not supposed to be this way- 754 is supposed to crash and burn while we 939 elitists point and laugh! Something has gone horribly wrong!

Lol... it was a good decision to buy 754!

by the way... you know nothing about 754.. I do have it and you say there is no double channel ?! 3200 mb/s = 2 channel. 1 channel = 3069 mb/s. I tested it ^^, EASILY taken over by overclocking memory and decreasing timings. and by the way !
Socket 754 3700+ > S939 4000+ ^^ coz those idiots just added 100 or 200 for 2x channels.

Don't know quite who that's aimed at but I'm afraid those benchmarks don't reflect what I've found. On my friend's computer I enabled dual channel and the memory bandwidth was nearly doubled on his 3500+ s939. Doesn't have such a huge effect on actual gaming performance, but the bandwidth increase is certainly more than 200 mb/s.

Hm, not really, my Clawhammer 754 3700+ went only to 228 mhz htt, the sanny 939 easily to 250, and i got more points in 3dmark05 with 1024mb ram in dual-channel, than with 1536mb in single channel.
