We have had internal discussions as to whether we should forego our position to not reduce image quality behind your back as AMD is doing. We believe our customers would rather we focus our resources to maximize performance and provide an awesome, immersive gaming experience without compromising image quality, than engage in a race to the IQ gutter with AMD.

Both companies accuse back and forth, and there's evidence for some level of "cheating" from both companies. Overall, fierce competition is just that. If a company really cheated in such a way to be easily caught, they would be caught by the competition and would pay for it either way.

Obviously Nvidia and a number of review sites that have confirmed the poor quality IQ from AMD care, if you don't care about IQ in your games, go play on a console. :toast:

so a company is saying it's competitor is wrong! there obviously MUST be something big afoot, for that to happen. I mean, it's not like NVidia ever does anything wrong, right ?

I'm not defending ATi in any way - i'm jsut saying i don't trust NVidia any more

Holy shnitzills do the ass hats ever bother to think maybe that is broken because of the MLAA enabled functions? I mean come AMD are with holding the 6900`s for a reason and now Nvidia and other websites that are probably controlled by Nvidia are scared to death of why AMD are so quite about the new cards?

Wow ATI have cheated before and so have Nvidia either of them were redoing the driver schemes for Vista back then .......whistles quietly in a corner laughing at fan boys fighting over damn drivers.
