Hot temps?
I've recently became interested in OC'ing, but decided to check on wether my system was cool enough to even consider it. When I did a stress test using systool CPU temp was 52C, from what I read, 55C is considered the maximum safe limit, Motherboard was at 42C, Motherboard Diode was ar 43C, and video card was at 45C.
Is OC'ing even possible at these temps? I use a standard heatsink/fan combo along with case fans. Just ask for more information if needed, Posting my system specs below. invest in some arctic silver ceramique and use it on ur cpu heatsink and for ur graphics card, let things run in for a bit after applying it and do a stress test, see how that alters temps.

OC is possible (with stock cooler and CPU@ default voltage) but IMHO I wouldn't do that whitout at least AS Ceramique thermal paste and Arctic Cooling Freezer64Pro.

Thanks for the tips, the heatskink is pretty cool to the touch, so I think its the thermal paste, I'll order some and see how it does.
