This new Beta completely crashes the system. No BSOD just black screen and the entire system is as dead as it can be
I tried a couple of times, but it is a very consistent behavior.

ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
Core 2 Duo E6600
Asus EAX 1950PRO CrossFire
Ati Catalyst 7.2

I wished the logfile did contain some useful information, but it doesn't.

Unfortunately, that's because the X1950pro series was never supported, even in the XP version of ATItool .

System Specs

Not working at all...

Kernel driver doesn't seem to be running blablabla...

UAC disabled, running Vista x86, Forceware 100.56 and GF 7300GT...

EDIT:

WTF, i have to disable that stupid driver signing crap for ATiTool to even work. ON EVERY SYSTEM BOOT!??!?! On x86 !? Oh man... How can i disable this shit permanently?

EDIT2:

Disable crappy UAC or use Admon rights, open Run... and type in "bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" (without quotes). Say goodbie to stupid driver signing.

EDIT3:
Again, this crap is re-enabled on new boot. Stupid to the max. Put this line into startup folder as shortcut...

@ RejZor, mine did the same thing.... reboot, uninstall, then reinstall... works now

@ Wizzard - the only thing that would make this better is fan speed adjustment for my 8800GTS

Club3d 8800 GTS 320MB under Vista 64 gives an error on the driver after a crash-restart. I now have "unsigned allowed" enabled permanently, will see if it still happens.

Furthermore a bell does ring upon artifacts, however artifact free time keeps counting and clocks are also not reduced for finding max.

(Initially went from 513/796 to 633/1002, but this is far from stable, temperature was around 95 degrees during the tests)

Would be nice if shader clock could be overclocked as Nibitor does not work under Vista 64.

Got it up to 640/810 stable. Altho my voltages are default. I didnt get that much higher than with ATi Overdrive (627/797). Using CAT 7.1 on XP 32bit SP2.

All i did was clock higher and run 3d view - didnt "find max core/mem" or "scan for artifacts". Also, enabled checkbox "use driver level overclocking"

Worked good for me Thanks W1zzard!
