So, No Crossfire available on new chipset!? Is there a plan in the making to include Crossfire in the future? Can crossfire be 'enabled' with a 'mod'?

Precisely. This is the perfect board for a Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC). In fact, Im thinking of getting one when I build my HTPC. Streaming media server with HDMI output ::drool::

Am I the only one surprised to see Intel beat out NV in some test
I really hope this is the lunch chipset for the mDTX boards, that would make for some rather powerful SFF PCs.

that is a great price for all that stuff. the onboard graphics is powerful enough to stream 1080p over the hdmi line!! so no buying a seperate card for 150 bucks!! spend the extra cash on a high end 7.1 soundcard.

This chipset already have IGP, and its built for budget mATX systems. Why the hell budget motherboard needs crossfire? No, really, you will buy 60$ motherboard and put 600$ cards on crossfire?

kool, now i wonder if amd is going to make an igp that can be used as a ppu?

that would rock on even high end boards, IGP onboard capable of being used as a low end ppu

this is a good step that dirrection.

Just because what seems to u a budget mobo is for most of the wordl expensive...and u dont need a 600$ VGA to work on CROSSFIRE.U,maybe dont know but there are people (lots of them)that need to work for a complete month to be able to get extra 60$ to spent on Hardware, lucky Kasparz.

this is a board for media center systems and budget, not for overclock, heavy games, etc.
this is not to compete with nvidia top of the lines chipset, is to compete with the ones with integrated gfx, and to be used in laptops

with this board... I honestly think it eliminates the need for a Graphics card for the Average joe, the X1250>X1050 and with HDMI =D. So yeah... the greatest HDMI thing ever made.

I remember ATI saying there next gen IG chipset would be able to do physics but they also said the x1xxx cards x1600 and up could run physic too. That was when they had Agieia to kill so I'm sure they'll go with DX10 only cards now to rake in some $.

naa, crysis already said that x1k cards will beable to do ppu if theres extra power left for it.

the software support hasnt been there to use a gpu as ppu yet, and aegia has what 1-3 games that use it?

any game that uses havoc fx will beable to use gpu as a ppu

dx10 cards will just beablet do to more on 1 card(because the cards are more burly)
