Ok max I can see in game is 1380x760 or somthing.. anyone know how I could edit it to 1680x1050? It looks decent even @ 1380x760 but I think it could look even better!

I know with some games you can change the res like in FEAR extraction point you can go into settings.cfg and change the screen hight elc.. I tried it on FEAR but it dident let me open the setting.cfg file... goess its just for extraction point.:toast:

I think there is a line you can put in front of the target for the shortcut, but I have no idea what it is. Sorry :)

Video Mode Launch Options

First, go to the "My Games" window. Right click on the game you want to change the video settings for and then click on properties. Then click on "Set launch options".

Use the -w # switch (where "#" is a number from the list below) to specify the display resolution:

* 640 (640x480) GoldSource Only
* 720 (720x576)
* 800 (800x600)
* 1024 (1024x768) - This mode offers the best performance for most cards
* 1152 (1152x864)
* 1280 (1280x1024) - This mode is optimal for high-end cards
* 1600 (1600x1200) - This mode requires a high-end monitor and a high-performance card

Hm... I think it might be "-w 1600 -l 1024" without the quotes, but I'm not sure.

ah I got it working.. but in umm 10 aspect ratio my monitor is advertised as a (whatever#)10 but its really a 9.. I guess the 9 aspect ratio does not support 1680x1050 but the 16?/10 does.. :p

I had changed my settings in-game to windowed version and it wouldent load so I reinstalled.. than I still had the prob so I just used that link you gave me and it said I can type in -fullscreen to get it back to fullscreen :) was worried I was going to have to clear my registry to get it to work. anyways I noticed the font was smaller in 1680x1050 hopfully I get a better picture in game too... time to load up my saved game from b4 :).

Thanks man
