Derek from Sunbeam wanted me to let you guys know that these cases are available at NewEgg in the US, and other Sunbeam cases are available there and at Xoxide.com as well.

I guess the idea is that it's tough and bulky - built like a football quarterback.

I like the airflow design. I have always been a fan of Antec cases for their room and spaciousness but this looks much better for air movement. Might have to try one on my next build.
Anyway 5.25 to 3.25 converters could be used for more hard drives? I like my storage large and across multiple drives.

I personally dont know much about Sunbeam, unless its the bread company down here in the south ::rofl::
Ill stick with my Antec Nine-Hundred. However, thank you T_ski for the review. ITs a nice looking case, funny name though.

Doesn't Sunbeam make clothing irons and small kitchen appliances you find at Wal-Mart?

Are the core fans replaceable? That case looks nice.

Yes, the Core Fans are just 120mm fans on an L-shaped bracket. You can move them up or down, use one or two, or take them out of the system if you don't want them. One side benefit of the bracket is making the case more rigid. Not that it really needs it, but I think when you start adding 10lb PSU's plus 15-20lbs of other hardware any extra support is going to make a difference. Especially when you move it around for lan parties, etc.
EDIT: I noticed on some of the other Sunbeam cases that they have another type of Core Fan called the 3D Core Fan, which has more brackets that allow you to tip the fans up of down to direct the flow right at your hottest gear.

Plus we have a Sunbeam clear acrylic 9-bay case at school I put together: http://www.xoxide.com/sunbeam-9bay-acrylic-clear.html I've used their CCFL's, too. They make a very popular 4-channel fan controller: http://www.xoxide.com/rheobus4port.html

Great case.....NZXT apollo with core fans!!!
That case is exactly the same case as the apollo by NZXT (see mine) with added fans on a rack
I also noticed that case resold under another name but i forgot where i saw it (French forum I think) Personally I like the NZXT take on it ![]()
