Microsoft's elite wireless range are good for me too :)

I dont mind the wireless, the batteries only die like once every 4-5 weeks or more.
Then I just pop the already recharged ones back in and recharge the used ones.

A benefit of wireless is that you can put your case somewhere away from your computer desk. Eg my case is currently on top of another shelf at shoulder level. Having the wireless means that the keyboard and mouse dont need to be so close to the tower (which is generally the case since the keyboard cable tends to be short. It also can help reduce clutter on the desk.

I've got the older G5, got it for cheap, and I love it, but frankly, if you don't need the weights, save money, grab an MX518. The difference will be minimal unless you're a high sensitivty gamer.

I really like my mx1000, but I have probs where I have to play with/wiggle it in the charging stand to get it to connect.. I can drain the batt in one day of use :O

Cant say the mx1000 is the best, but its a damm fine mouse. I wouldnt mind a G7 since it has a spare batt pack.. when I buy my nexted keyboard/mouse combo im going wireless for the most part.. some wireless keyboards have the option of pluging them into an outlet.

Geezz evil 3+ gamming mice!

G7's a great mouse, so was the mx518 though its not new anymore and I dont even know if my local retailer stocks em anymore. Though yeah the 518 was a good mouse, couldnt hurt much to add one more to the list... but he does have an option for one thats not on the list :p.

I love my G5... great form fit, can change resolution on the mouse, weights, technically 6 buttons (L,R,Thumb, Left-tilt-wheel, right-tilt-wheel, down-click-wheel).
Plus I got it for $20 from an Amazon deal a while back... yeeeah.

G5 and G7 are the best... right?

G7 is wireless, but it's battery runs out and it costs more.

I haven't tried any mice on the list except for the Copperhead that i'm currently using but i highly recomend it. Its a damn fine mouse, it's laser, really fast, so fast that it took me a couple of days to get used to it, though you could change its speed by either using Razer or windows settings. Its also an awesome looking mouse, i have the tempest blue version and it matches my blue and black case and keyboard perfectly. I'm using it together with the aluminum exact mat mouse pad and these 2 are made for each other. I suggest you take a look at this one before making your decision.
