It isnt just about the material it is made out of.
The flatness of the base, and the size also plays important roles.
The fact that it wasnt that flat hurt it.
Also, it is much smaller than most heatsinks today.

Does it fit on a Socket A (462) ??
I know...it says nothing about fitting on a Socket A....but...maybe.....

System Specs

How would this compare to a stock AMD AM2 heatpipe cooler? I'm still on the hunt for the perfect HTPC cpu cooler for an X2 3800+ in an ATX HTPC case. Height and noise are major concerns.
