Processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Brisbane @ 2.8GHz (224x12.5, 1.425V)
Motherboard Gigabyte sumthin-or-another, it's got an nForce 430
Cooling Dual 120mm case fans front/rear, Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro, Zalman VF-900 on GPU
Memory 2GB G.Skill DDR2 800
Video Card(s) Sapphire X850XT @ 580/600
Storage WD 160 GB SATA hard drive.
Display(s) Hanns G 19" widescreen, 5ms response time, 1440x900
Case Thermaltake Soprano (black with side window).

Software XP Home SP2, can't wait for Vista SP1.
Eh, the title says it all. My friend gave me for a birthday present a while ago a bunch of parts, with which I tried to build a Socket A Sempron computer. Unfortunately, the motherboard had a VIA chipset, and so everything began failing from the moment I stuck with XP install disk in. Deciding that I didn't want to spend $350 to get yet another computer working, I figured I'd split up the working parts and sell them to you guys :).

Hope you find something you need...

The first things I am selling are two optical drives. The first one is an LG CD burner, I never got Windows working well enough to test the writing speed. $15 shipped for that. The second one is a BenQ CD-ROM drive. $10 shipped. $25 shipped for both (sorry, no discounts, they're rather heavy :p). Please see pictures one and two as reference.

The third picture represents a PCI slot fan, as Socket A things run terribly hot. It pushes a lot of air, it's a little noisy, but definitely tolerable if you need to cool a hot computer/VGA. $10 shipped to your door.

The fourth and fifth pictures reveal an NVIDIA GeForce 6200 with a strange DVI port. It should be fine for most DVI monitors, but do remember to check before buying. The 6200 is $30 shipped.

The sixth picture shows two simple IDE cables. Yours for $5 shipped. Sold to 3991vhtes

The seventh and eighth pictures are for a Western Digital hard disk drive. It holds 80GB, or 72 when formatted under NTFS. It will be completely wiped upon sale, and will be formatted to the, erm, format of your desire. $30 shipped. Sold to 3991vhtes

The ninth picture shows a very basic 300W power supply. It has a 4 pin P4 connector, a 20pin motherboard connector, 15A on the 12V+ rail, and one or two weird connectors. $30 shipped. Sold to 3991vhtes

The tenth picture is a simple Socket A AMD Sempron 2500+, works great, never been overclocked. $20 shipped. Sold to Fiream

The eleventh picture shows a simple Ethernet cable. It's between 3 and 5 feet long. Yours for $5 shipped. Sold to P_o_s_pc

The twelfth and thirteenth pictures represent a stock AM2 cooler. Great for quiet, un-overclocked operation and claiming warranties. It comes with a four-pin connector, and the stock un-touched TIM. $10 shipped.

The fourteenth picture is a classic NVIDIA TNT2. It runs classic Unreal Tournament. It's AGP, it's DX6, and it's $10 shipped.

Last but not least, the fifteenth picture is a power supply adapter cable. It will take a 20 pin power supply cord, and stick it into a 24 pin motherboard. $5 shipped.

Now, on to the technicalities. If you want to buy something from me...
  • Please post below that you're interested, or PM me. Please keep all the juicy financial parts (addresses, exact cash details, etc) in PM's.
  • Continental USA preferred. All prices include shipping to any place in the continental USA. If you are not in the continental USA and want to buy something from me, you pay the list price plus extra shipping cost.
  • I ship the moment I have the money. I prefer to be payed via my paypal account (soupersmartkyd@aol.com), but I'm fine with a check. I don't mind cash, but please endeavor to ensure that it won't get stolen in transit. No credit cards, no money order, no Western Union. And I only take American currency in USD.
  • If you have any problem with the product, contact me. Depending on the conditions of the problem, I will either refund your money and let you keep the product (DOA), ask you to talk to USPS (broke in transit), or laugh at your idiotic misfortune (I'll only do this if you do something truly stupid, such as remove the hard drive cover with a hammer and wonder why the hard drive doesn't work anymore).
  • All shipping will be done through the United States Postal Service. If requested, I will be happy to insure the product, but you will pay extra money if insurance costs over $5. I will track the order if you pay for tracking.
  • My heatware is here

Well, that's everything I can think of. Thanks for looking :).

Yes, you did send me a PM, you can now see the pictures of the video card and the price :p.

I sure hope that the DVI port isn't too much of a problem. It was a problem for my friend when he tried a dual-monitor thingy with a DVItoVGA adapter that only plugged into a DVI-D connector (that's a DVI-A).

Anyways. Are you interested in buying the video card?

That strange port is a DVI-D port. You can find out more about it @ Wikipedia "DVI-D". It's basicaly a digital only signal connection which does not support an anolog signal and is probably why he couldn't get a dual monitor setup running correctly.

Yes, you did send me a PM, you can now see the pictures of the video card and the price :p.

Yep, definitely interested, just need to know the make and model and how much ram if at all possible!?! Please let me know as the pics are pretty vague. :D

Ah, my bad. As I said, I never really got around to testing this video card too much, so I can't get you an exact in-Windows count. It should be 128MB, non turbocache. The memory chips are made by Hynix, lemme get a flashlight so I can tell you the exact model number :p.

Model number of one of the RAM chips:

HY5DU561622CT-4

Does the Sempron at least have the Clock Speed/Cache/FSB rating listed on it? Usually it is printed on the little black part on the top of the CPU.

You should be able to look on the black label on the CPU to see what kind of processor it is. It will be like ADA1800 or whatever if it's an 1800+ for example(something along those lines).

It's like 90p a litre :p

Have you heard what Jeremy Clarkson said about American petrol? It's so funny, he says it's weak as piss or something like that on one of the episodes of Top Gear.

TO JEREMY :toast:

Whatever, .9p per litre = 2.70 pounds per gallon = $5.40 a gallon, I think I'll take the $2.95/gallon I can afford before the $5.40 that makes me want to get a weak hybrid car :p.
