Looking at TPU chat, its been empty past couple of times ive entered.

Does anyone actually use the chat anymore?

I think it would be alot more used if there was a link to it within the forums, because when I come to tpu my hotlink takes me straight to the forums rather than the main page, which is the only place with a link to TPU Chat.

Also, if there was some sort of system that displayed who is in TPU Chat on the main forum page along with this link, people might find it easier to get into contact with other people instead of going in, finding it empty and leaving straight away.

I think it would help reduce the amount of crappy random threads posted (some of them by me :laugh:

) and it would also allow people with very minor problems to get their problems solved instead of creating a whole thread on it.

So what do you think?

I think that most people post so regularly in the forums they don't tend to bother with the chat! It might be good to have a link in the forums to see if a few more people use it, but TBH I doubt it will ever become too popular.

Yeah I myself dont bother.
But I feel that perhaps if it was more easily accessible and it encouraged people to get into the chat room that theres a chance it might become popular - it was at one stage.

I voted that there should be a link in the forum. I'm not much of a chatter myself, but I missed out knowing that this forum has a chatroom. :eek:

I was pushing for it too in another thread, I can't see how it hurts and I don't understand the reason it gets "buried" everytime no one uses it. Why can't we just leave it there for the moments people want to use it. I know I'd be in a lot. I spend most of my free time browsing this site in one tab while window shopping on NewEgg in another. If I could keep a chat window open to talk to people it'd be fun.

I agree. Plus, it would be a great place to get a quick answer when you are stressed out and are about to run a chainsaw through your computer.
