haha.. still funny to see that when push comes to shove in higher resolutions the 1950Pro still beats the 86GTS. Hmm.. that gives me an idea..

Very nice review of a very nice card .

In the future, when reviewing video cards, do you think it would be possible to include screenshots of image quality? That's the real selling point for several video cards, in my opinion. Why have 3,000 frames a second when it looks like dog crap?

Thank you for this review W1z but man, what the h*ll!?! Why are you still using the old Cat 7.7s to test the ATI cards with? You do realize that the 7.8 release has been out for awhile now and not to mentioned that the new 7.9s are available now as well! Theres quite a significant performance boost directly towards the HD2400/HD2600 series over the last couple of driver releases, the 7.7s were almost like betas for the HD series...

I appologize if I am out of line here and I missed the memo stating your reasons but I'm simply perplexed atm by this...

i'm sure you see the number of cards tested and the number of benchmarks. if you want to move in here and test cards 24/7 you are more than welcome. thats like the only way to have really current driver's benchmark results. i will probably retest after cat 7.10

Send some ATi cards my way, and I can re-benchmark them with FEAR, 3dm03,05,06, farcry, quake 4, and STALKER

Could you change the graphic bars in the benchmark comparisons to also include the driver level beside the card specifications then? That way you won't have to do any retesting, but the results would still illustrate the existence of somewhat outdated drivers.

I have a feeling these cards are voltage starved...
