To XL...or not to XL

Im trying to only spend $300 on a card. I want the 16 pipes and I want a card that overclocks alright. I have an artic cooler to put on the card. Should I get the X800XL???? Or try to find an XT?

Of course you probably already know that the XL's are not known to oc very well. But, it does have all 16 pipes open and ready to render. With the Silencer and a volt mod, pencil or solder, you may be able to get decent clock speeds out of it.

I am not sure when it is going to be here, but I will be receiving a new VisionTek X800XT hopefully soon. It will be brand new OEM. I had to RMA my other one. I will be listing it on eBay for that price. If you want me to let you know when it gets here, if you are interested, I will. It has been gone for about 3 weeks now.
