Here you are link to Automated Flash Utility for flashing HD2900PRO (both 512MB DDR3 and 1024MB DDR4). The utility is bootable on iso image. Just unpack the archive and burn the iso image using the "burn image" option on your burning software on CD/CD-RW/DVD/DVD-RW. Do not try to extract the content of the iso because everything is on it: atiflash 3.42, 2900PRO and XT BIOSes. After burning boot from the already burned CD/DVD (first boot device - CD-ROM) and choose the desired option from the menu. The utility doesn't work in Windows.

Registered just to thank dolf for this awesome tool. I was looking to flash the XT BIOS for me HD2900 Pro but I was afraid I would screw something up, then I found this and it was incredibly simple and worked perfectly. Thanks again dolf!

I need more replies from this tool, im REALY shaky on flashing but i BADLY want to do it, did it with my X1800GTO worked great(not this tool tho lol, its just that i did it when i bought my 2900PRO card so it wouldn't matter if i burned it hehe. Anyone else tried it? im not questioning your release dolf, just trying to be on the safe side =)
