sorry off topic but what's up with keeping your Q at 2.91? I leave mine at 3.33 24/7 under a 9700 at like 1.39V with good temps folding SMP

i am a slow overclocker , just last week i had it running at 2.7 , i take them in small increments , and will reach my most stable and good temp point , will take it to 3.2 this weekend =).

If you want mine you can have it make me a good offer it's a G0 that will bench as high as 4.050ghz on air. Not many will do that. It was a oem chip.

His is a B3 mines a G0 big difference. Go has much lower temps, needs less voltage, and overclock 300 to 400 mghz higher on average. I'm not looking to get rid of it really but if you want it and the price is right it's yours. Send me a PM, every man has his price and I go thru CPU's faster than I change my underware. Ask nflesher87 hes known me a while now LOL

yes. there are two (main)steppings for q6600's, the b3 and the g0. both overclock about the same, but the b3 requires more volts and creates a ton more heat, hence why you see 4GHz g0's all the time but only a few b3's @ 4GHz

Yes GO is the stepping. The B3 chips came out first then the GO chips were a newer revision.

No they don't overclock the same at all.I have had both the average B3 does 3.2ghz to 3.3ghz . The average G0 does 3.6ghz or higher. B3 is still a very good chip.
