If the reviews of AGP 38xx series shows better results than X1950pro I might give AGP one more chance or else I might build a new one selling or retiring mine. So just need suggestions.
What I need:
1. AMD chip compatible mobo (AM2 or AM2+)
2. 90% chance I will be using Phenom (the bug free one) or use my AM2 (X2 3800 or X2 4800) for now.
3. Don't really need SLI or CrossFire
4. Will defenitely be using one of those Dual GPU (38xx series)
5. Back panel SPDIF out
6. Back panel Firewire Port
7. Back panel E-Sata(optional)
8. 2 IDE connectors to connect 4 IDE devices.
9. Atleast 4 SATA connectors
10. 3 PCI slots (but 2 is also ok).
With the above in mind I have the following.
a. ASUS M2N-SLI AM2 NVIDIA nForce 560 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

b. DFI INFINITY NF SLI-M2 AM2 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

c. DFI CFX3200 M2/G Infinity AM2 ATI CrossFire Radeon Xpress 3200 ATX AMD Motherboard

d. MSI K9N SLI Platinum AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130048
e. GIGABYTE GA-MA69G-S3H AM2 AMD 690G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128052
f. ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131013
I am looking at below $150 price range.
Out of above my choices are a and b.
I was to carry over my IDE drives (200G WD, 2 x Samsung DVDRW). I already have E-Sata Pci card with one IDE port on it. Also have a Firewire PCI card.
What will be good?
Should I go with MSI once again?
Should I stretch my budget and go with this?
