Good stuff. I remember being in awe over the 6800Ultra Go, now I'm the same way with the 7800GTX Go.

Can't wait to see 'real' benchmarks.

How do you know it's valid and the photos are not edited? Since it's under NDA NVIDIA surely didn't give it to you right? Where did this info come from?

My Inspiron XPS Gen 2 is due to be delivered this week.

Should I send it back and wait for the GeForce Go 7800 GTX to be released?

Personally, I would if it could be done. You will get a LOT more performance simply by waiting a few weeks. Only kicker may be that the 7800GTXGo may cost a lot more.

Don't suppose there is any way to determine what the price on this is going to be? I'm planning (also) on buying the XPS Gen 2 soon, and if this is being released soon (next week or two), I would like to wait. However, if it's going to bump the price of the XPS up signifigantly, I'd rather just get the Gen 2 now, as I have a limited budget. Could anyone help me out on that info, if it exists?

I'm in the same boat. But here's what I'm doing. I'm ordering now, and by the 29th, when they have it available (if the press release is anything to go by) then I'll just cancel and re-order with no cost to me. If it's like 1k more for that GPU then... I'll have my other one I already placed an order for.

Pretty sure 9300's won't get XPS cards. The 9300 doesn't put out the power need for that card.

I ended up not canceling as i got such a good deal and i am now SUPER happy with my decision, i got the 750$off coupon. and dell had lowed their couplons as of yesterday we prob will never see anything more than 25%off, as well theres no way the 7800GTX will ever work in the i9300 so i'm very happy i decided to keep it, maybe in the future they will release an upgrade for the 6800go like a 7800go rather than a 7800gtx. As of now i'm just going to enjoy my purchase to the fullest, and not worry that my laptop that hasn't even arrived yet has been rendered obcelete, because it HASN'T, and anyone who wants an M170 will have to pay out the ass for one, i got 80% of the power of the new 7800GTX for 1150$
