First time post, long time techpowerup stalker

Take a look at my ATi Tool fuse:

Could it be unlocked?

And i successfully overclocked it to X800XT speed, without the card heating up too much - due to the use of watercooling...........

Is there any X800XT vBIOS.............

Anyway here's my GPU info:
X800GTO (xpertvision)
256MB DDR3
AGP
NO VIVO
No RIALTO bridge, GPU native AGP

It is the good "old" X800PRO AGP with R420 core. Unfortunately that core can't be unlocked to 16 pipes but probably could be overclocked to 520-580MHz. Do the same thing with the memory and enjoy it. The overclocked 12 pipe card could be very close to one with 16 pipes. Usually the all 16 pipes generate more heat and the 16 pipe core has limited overclock in comparison with one with 12 pipes.

Thanks for your time, btw is it possible to just flashed it to X800XT BIOS but letting it run at 12pipelines? Wanted these GPU to run at X800XT's speed...

Lack of temperature monitoring chips kinda sucks - in a way that i have to mount temp sensor and do 'classic heat testing' - by touching the memory hsf for excessive heats generated

Owh, the memory goes up to 601mhz (1202mhz) and the core goes up to 520Mhz. It could probably goes higher, but then the memory hsf kinda hot, due to the absence of active airflow (using watercooling).

In principle you can do that and you will obtain X800XT (PE) but with 12 pipes. You should get the temperature monitoring but I am afraid that Xpertvision creates "custommer" orientated products saving the money from different parts (of course the most wanted feature - temp. monitoring usually is the first one :mad:

). If you have picture of your card I can help you to understand (if possible front side but without cooler). Otherwise you have to flash X800XT PE BIOS and to reinstall the drivers in order to check. Your card is non VIVO and you have to edit the BIOS with RaBit and to uncheck the VIVO features, to save the BIOS and to flash with it.

The X800GTO AGP are with the 8-chips DDR3. Sorry for the image quality, snapped it several days ago with my Razr....... and razr are known to be suck in image quality

Now the graphics card are in my rig, and with the waterblock i'll doubt you could see the layout properly

And another puzzling thing, the card came with those 6-pin PCI-express power......... and its AGP

Probably to save PCB's cost, since by this they could use the same PCB for PCI-express version?

It is different PCB design and probably the normal XT BIOS won't work. Unfortunately I can't see the LM63 chip which is responsible for the temp. monitoring. If you still want to try the XT BIOS you can use RamBios 1.5 to test it. Search the forum for how and what to do. If you can't find LM63 it is useless to try the flash to XT.

I found the Rambios Thread. Interesting piece of software there

I'll try using Generic X800XT AGP BIOS. But i'll doubt it'll work due to the absence of those monitoring chips. I dont think Rabit could disable the monitoring functions?

You just can check whether the BIOS is working or not. If you can see something in DOS then you can flash.

Your X800PRO VIVO will unlock to 16 pipes but the modded X800PRO BIOS won't work on X800PROS with fuse values like yours. You have to flash it with X800XT BIOS and after if everything is OK with X800XT PE speeds you can flash it with X800XT PE BIOS. All these options are available in my Automated Flash Utility for X800PRO VIVO AGP.
Read the flash instructions file.

Don't forget to BACKUP your ORIGINAL BIOS

I have the same FUSE data but my CONFIG_ROM_FUSES reads 0x4021 it has bad pipes and unlocked just fine but the pipes showed their defective nature or another limmit we have not discovered how to re-enable. What is your GB_PIPE_SELECT?

Help, I cannot flash my bios

I have used the modded flashrom and atiflash to no avail. It says in flashrom my bios is locked if anyone has any information on how to unlock my other pipes please let me know. I have oc'd stable @ more than an 850xt pe AGP and want the extra performance. Thanks in advance for any help. I have an ATI x850pro vivo 256.

Your card will unlock to 16 pipes :toast:

. Save your original BIOS just in case. To make the long story short use the Automated Flash Utility for X850PRO VIVO AGP:

It is expected to be like that because that is the reason to have X800PRO with working 16 pipes

. You need Voltmod and beter cooling (ATI Silencer 5 rev.2 for instance).

Can any one help me Saphire x1900GT v2 ? Like unlock extra pipes and shaders? And make is it possibel to clock it? Dunno me dont know how to extract BIOS from it, is there any one who can tell me that?

Hi, i have a His x800gt iceqII iturbo with r480, i verrified it by looking under the heatsink, i have 2.0ns ddr3,

I tested the modified bios of shadowflare but it don't change anything in pipe, the core is now detected like a r480 but still as 8 pipeline, the card is 52° insteed of 47° on windows desktop, is it normal?
This is my original bios dumped with ati tray tools.

a reboot and temperature normal...
