I think you should include a small blurb on the page that shows the cooler installed saying you are using the mosfet heatsinks from the HR-03 Plus. It won't affect performance in any way, but they look a little better IMO than the Accelero Xtreme heatsinks, so someone might get confused and think the ones in your pictures are what they will look like.

I know you cover what the ones that come with the Accelero seperately, but I just think it would limit confusion.

Edit: Oh, and is this compatible with the G92 based 8800 series cards, or just G80 cards? From the looks of it, I would guess only G80, but I just want to be sure.

Edit2: Nevermind, a quick trip over to their website shows it is only compatible with G80 cards. Perhaps a note about that would be helpful in the review(possibly even a Con, IMO).

any chance of some pics of the card installed with this blower? only it looks like it over hangs a bit on the power regs side and that might stop it fitting in some cases.

what was the room/ambeint temp during these tests? i only ask as i seem to get better temps from my stock blower @ 60%.

You are seeing better temps because you have a 8800GTS 512MB, and he is using the 8800GTS 320MB.

Your card is 65nm, his is 90nm. The 90nm G80 based 8800GTS video cards ran a lot hotter than the 65nm G92 based ones.

The temperature difference is like newtekie said due to the fact that the new 65 nm GPUs run a lot cooler.

I guess i was the only one who wrote a review for a 8800GTX with this cooler. The temps decreased by 22-29° so it was worth every single buck. Other coolers are more expensive and don't offer this performance.

true that. but the HR-03+/GT takes up way too much space. i like the temps but not the space it takes up.

I am one of the ones eagerly awaiting these coolers in the US. I had an HR-03 on my 2900 and got a second one when i got my second 2900. I can't use two HR-03's in Xfire with my mobo.

I currently have two VF100's and am not happy with their performance on my cards.

Err, the HR03 still costs like 40% more and then you have to mount a fan on it, the pwn coolers, what also is an additional cost. So you end up paying almost the double price for same performance ...

Awww man I went out and bought one thinking that it would perform better than the HR-03 for my 2900. Right now my HR-03 is performing like crap, my stock heatsink and fan cooled it better, I actually had to lower my GPU's clock to keep it cooler. I don't know if I did something wrong or not. Anyways i'm looking forward to this cooler when I get it on monday, I'll put up my own test results, if anything, the fact that it doesn't take up as much room as the HR-03 is a deff plus.

I hope they come out with a G92 compatible version.

I love my HR-03 but by the looks of this could definitely be a very close second. In all honesty a few tweaks to a design like this could easily match the performance of the Thermalright without sacrifice too much space. I already have a couple ideas in my head just by looking at the pics for a couple minutes. If they make of a version of this compatible with newer cards I make pick this up when I start my next build in the summer.

Ah.. i just got my Arctic 8800 cooler.. impossible to get it anywhere in Sweden, had to order it from Germany.

Hopefully it will do some good job against the stockcooler on my ASUS 8800 Ultra.
