I gotta say for the price of DDR3 you're certainly getting ripped off I've had DDR2 get the same read and write speeds and it only costs $80.

They need to release some CL6 modules at that speed, that would increase performance 10 fold. Probably would require liquid cooling though.

The only benefit is a better ratio to FSB with newer processors and OCing. i.e. 1:1 with 1600MHz FSB or 1800MHz FSB.
