How come they call this the first PSU with six +12v rails when there already are PSU's such as ABS-Tagan ITZ-1100 that come with 6 rails (and released more than an year ago)?

Well, the Zalman and Cooler Master both have 6 +12V rails because they're both from Enhance and their high output units just have 6 +12V rails. So that's hardly something for Cooler Master to brag about.

Besides that, there were Topower 1000W+ units with 6 +12V rails long before Cooler Master, Zalman, etc.

Regardless of who was first, I do commend them for going with 6 +12V rails. By doing so, you can limit how much power is delivered to a connector in the event of a short, but have fewer connectors on each rail so it's very unlikely to ever overload a rail.
