Diamond Multimedia
Stay away, i warn each of you people.
i have been dealing with the Diamond MM tech support for almost 3 months now (march 18th - june 2nd) and now i am almost 100% sure they have lost my gfx card. it started when the thing died from a pencil mod. i sent it in for rma, i got another, did a bios mod, few days later it didn't work, sent it in, got another, this time i did nothing to it and it still stopped working, now i sent that one in, talked to the rma guy James, and he seems to have no idea what i am talking about now. he tells me my card was shipped and arrived on may 14th. how does the card arrive at my door when i shipped it may 27th? does ups have a magical time traveling brown truck? anway i would advise all people here on tpu (and tell your friends) not to get a diamond card. spend more and get a Sapphire or HIS |

Thanks for the heads up. Won't be purchasing a new card till the 4xx0 series is out, and I have the money, but I will try out either Sapphire or HIS, or maybe both.

I dont know, They are supposed to have a killer ass 790FX board coming out. HIS makes some awesome cards though. I may trade this bad boy in for the 4870 (or sell it)

Hi all
That pure crossfireX 790FX is a copy of DFI LandParty UT 790FX M2R mother board. Looking at the sapphire mother board i say DFI made that board for them . |

Seriously, you broke several cards which they replaced. Now there is a single incident and you tell others not to buy from them? Seriously, you're a lot worse than they are. A single mistake on their part as far as I can tell, and three on yours. |

That doesn't sound like something anyone would want to deal with. As far as the burning the cards, the bios and pencil mods don't they void the warranty technically? Okay, call it karma, but its still pretty bad they are obviously unorganized. But then again, deal with a single company enough times something is bound to go bad sooner or later.

flashing the BIOS does not void most companies warranties ie MSI even has a program to help you update yours but using a modified bios does

I recommend living alone in the jungle then. Everyone and any company will make mistakes. You can't get around that. Besides, they found it back. So some retard might just have placed it at some wrong spot. They made up for their mistake, can't say freaksavior did. So who should flame whom?
