alex is a nice guy, talked to him a few times. for a marketing guy he actually cares about the product too, not just sales.

yup, that happened a while ago. There was a bit of crying from some fanbois that OCZ would drag PC&C down, but its more that the regular OCZ PSU's have gotten better.

Yeah OCZ seem to be doing a good job with PC Power & Cooling. Unlike some this actually take a beat due to how hot it gets in this house.

how about reserving one of the NIA devices for TPU, when they're available for review sample allocation?

Intel igent: cryoZ was released USA only. Due to problems with the gasses involved (legal problems, not technical ones) it lost the price advantage when it had to be shipped overseas. There was a short term sale of them in the USA, i am unsure if you can still buy them.

basically they couldnt ship them gassed, which meant they had to pay to get them regassed at the other end, or ship them out by boat. neither really appealed to OCZ, so they sold off what they had and left it at that. I hope they make a comeback some day.

hope you dont mine me answering that one for you, alex.

We are still looking at selling some in the US but are currently certifying the unit, we are also making changes to the packaging to ensure there is no damage during shipping. I don't have a definite ship date on this one, but we are working on it.

Ryder and tony are tech support, whereas alex is marketing. Alex is a lot better to talk to about new and upcoming products, whereas tony and ryder are better at fixing the ones we've already broken.

Hi oczander.
I just have one question on graphic card topic.
Last year there was a word that OCZ will start to produce graphic cards.
But from what I've saw this year, OCZ only produced 8800GTX cards. As it can be seen on, http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/video_cards/
So what are OCZ plans for the future with graphic cards?
Thanks..

Hi brajko2, good question. We sold a bunch of the 8800GTX cards and we added some value by specially binning the memory and built up complete cards so only the top percentage of the cards would be branded OCZ. With the change to the 9 series we backed away from videocards becuase we wanted to be able to add more value as our 8800GTX offering was too similar to the rest of the market. We are looking at video cards but we wont re-enter the market unless we can come back with more innovative and high performance cooling on the cards to offer more performance and differentiation.

Thanks, and time for me to hop on a plane...
