0.25 Beta 9
- Added overclocking for X1000 series
- Added monitoring and fan control for X1000 series - Added VGPU, MVDDC, MVDDQ voltage control for X1800 (yes it only works on X1800 and is not possible on other cards) - Improvements to hotkey detection code - Fixed BIOS dump on some 6800LE NVIDIA cards - Added switch for Adaptive Anti-Aliasing - Added current draw monitoring for X1800 - Artifact scanning on X1000 series might not be 100% reliable yet Download: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/101 Last edited by W1zzard; 11-20-2005 at 09:38 PM. |

Just stopped by to see which vids cards you're supporting for computer's next generation. And I am Wondering which would suit my needs if the scenario calls for a computer upgrade.
Good health to you, if your in the holiday season mood, hope you have good holidays.

Hmmm the memory voltage MVDDC and MVDDQ don't seem to be setting properly when adjusting it in ATITool .25 Beta 9.
It keeps resetting to 1.8V on the card. VGPU works perfectly fine though. Opps forgot to add, this is for the X1800XL card Last edited by deathman20; 11-20-2005 at 08:17 PM. |

Hi all,
Thanks W1zzard for the update, I think this is the first profile saving overclocking tool for the 1x000 series. Having a few problems though mate, and im sure they are related. When I first started up ATi Tool, it gave me a warning about Alternate Pixel Center being enabled, which I found odd as it is disabled via ATi Tray Tools and I double checked via the registry and the values for Alternate pixel center are both 0. When I start the overclocking tool with find max core, the core values start to decrease straight away and I get yellow abnormalities around the fury cube. Obviously this is due to Alternate pixel center, as the warning does say it will create visual abnormalities. Thats weird although the application is reporting 0 errors. Look forward to your reply, this is on a X1800XL ![]() |

spajdr: next build will have dump bios disabled on all x1000 card until a fix is found deathman20: no issues with memory voltage change here .. could you describe what you are doing and what's happening? anybody else having problems with this? |

The "PixelCenter" reg setting is REG_SZ , is that a string?

Thanks W1zz for the great utility, badly needed and hits the spot ~8D! Anyways, for some feedback, the overclocker util and ATItool do not show the same voltages. I have a BBA X1800XT. The core shows .025 difference between the two. I set to 1.4 in overclocker, ATItool shows 1.375, I set to 1.425 it shows 1.4 in ATItool... not too bad a difference but a difference for sure. Memory seems to read 2.097 from the get go when overclocker reads 1.8. I changed the mem and IO voltage from overclocker to 1.85 for both and read again from atitool and it read 1.84 for both, back to 1.8, then read for 1.79 and 1.9 in overclocker reads 1.889 in atitool. One other thing, when scan for artifacts is clicked, it shows some yellow crud artifacts around the cube no matter wheather it's defaults, low clock speeds or anything else. It goes away by hitting abort then scan again, then it's normal.

Hmm, One thing that I notice, when I set overclock in ATI Tool, when I open the overclock tool from driver heaven, its says ATI Tool set 2d speed, not 3d. Any idea why that is?

mmm was there some way to have ATItool recall your voltage settings? I keep the overclocks, but without the voltage bumps I get lockups. Other than the few issues listed here, it runs great!

Wizard, What's Up?
Wizard, great work with the ATI Tool 0.25 Beta 9
I run Windows XP Pro x64 & have no problems running ATI Tool 0.25 B9 or any of the ATI Tools. I acually find it a lot better when running it in 64-Bit Win. Will there be a way to maybe unlock the voltages of the Core/Mem in the R430's & R480's? That would be great. And thank you for your time. Take Care,

- Added VGPU, MVDDC, MVDDQ voltage control for X1800 (yes it only works on X1800 and is not possible on other cards)
i reworded to make sure everybody understands |
