Nice score!! I've just been doing a bit of tweaking and OCing. Changing nothing other than Ocing my CPU from stock to 3.2Ghz, my 3dmark06 score rose by 2800 point! take that :nutkick: for a bottleneck, lol!

Wonder how much more it will go up when I try out my dad's quad this weekend?? :D

Would like to see what two 4870X2's are gonna produce, 30k the next target?

Just the one post off topic. ;)

Performance is good yeah. They are definetly noisier than my last hdd's, but once I'm in game it doesnt matter. nice have to all this space, can fill it up with games now. :D

might just be mine but if you listen closely you can here the motor whurring all the time. Cant be bothered if thats not how its supposed to be, either that or I'm expecting too much. Cant have performance and silence all the time. :p

well after ripping one of my fans out of my case that was doing my nut in, my system is wayyyy quieter now, and yes i too can hear the WD, its louder than my last few hdd's but nothing that i cant and wouldnt put up with lol, the perf increase is defo worth it, and the space is a bonus although i only have a pultry 493gb left :twitch: (sarcassm) anyways, as were hijacking i'd be more than happy to pm with you too compare/discuss it further, its the best drive ive ever bought, including a raptor
