Where and how do I get it?

Get a NV card thats 8400GS or higher and install the drivers. But aren't you using all of your slots with two 4870's?

Oh and this only works in XP.

Yes I am using both slots but I heard Physx runs on 3800 and 4800 series cards.

its possible but not doable with ati cards atm as there is no software to do it, you need an nvidia card, so if both ur slots are full, no you cant have physx

There was a project @ NGOHq but nothing happened, they must have stopped it because there are some legal conflict in running physx in a ati card.

The cards itself can run it because it's only a software thing and Amd has sided with intel havock, so we just have to wait.

Some people are using a second nvidia dedicated card to run physx but that can be done only under xp because vista has some limitation on running to vga drivers.

you can do ATI+Nvidia and it works fine. i have also found how to run vantage and other DX10 software with the mix.

PhysX on ATI project is been made by NGOq but after nearly 3 months there is still noting. The builder of the program (or whatever it is) said that it only works with HD 38xx series not included 48xx because (as the reason) he cannot attain enough on HD 48xx series.

Many times told "coming in several hours" but never came :laugh:

It just seems another fake program. May just to make that forum more populer then now and earn some money :rockout:

Well maybe this is my apprehension but... I don't know :confused:

Actualy I got almost invited. I got an email from the forum a few days ago but I deciced to not respone on it. I gave me up 3 months ago with 2 hd3870, but my graphics cards configuration did change to hd4870 and they wanted private information of me.

Will it run on x8 link? (P35 P5K)
Do you need more than one monitor?

you can run it on any board with more that one pcie slot.

you need 2 monitors(or a dvi to vga adapter i have been told works too)for setup but not required for use.
